Candlelight Christmas Walk in Tellico Plains (December)

The pictures were taken by Jack Waters of The Tellico Times The candlelight Christmas event was our 1st night event and it was SOOO Cold! In the 1st picture you see me & Mom in the booth. I hadn't anticipated entering the costume contest but it was all in good fun. That's me in the Red (without a hat) I didn't wear a hoop under my skirt because I wouldn't have been able to get in and out of our booth. Mom & I created the gold & red outfits we were wearing (We were thinking caroling in a Dickens Christmas to set the mood) I think next year I'll just go to enjoy the festivities, the carriages were absolutely gorgeous. I wish there were pics of the carriages to show you. A couple of our friends had their horses and carriage there and it was amazingly beautiful. All in all it was a beautiful event in a dreamy small town setting. I hope to be the one taking pictures next year and maybe even enjoy a carriage ride with my husband! Visit Tellico Plains during one of their small town events sometime to take in the beauty surrounding this lovely small town.
